yes but it its with the foot the GK can not pick it up. If he does its an indirect free kick from the origin of the pass. you may use any other way to pass to the keeper e.g. header then he may pick it up. the rule was brought in, in the nineties to prevent boring teams like liverpool continually taking the lead and then playing the remainder of the game defender to goalie to defender to goalie you get the picture.

Yes we can pass the ball to our own goal keeper. This is call Back pass.
The back-pass rule refers to two clauses within Law 12 of the Laws of the Game of football (soccer). These clauses prohibit the goalkeeper from intentionally handling the ball when a team-mate uses his/her feet or a throw-in to intentionally pass them the ball. The goalkeeper is still permitted to use his feet and other body parts to redirect the ball.
The actual offence committed is the handling of the ball by the goalkeeper, not the ball being passed or thrown back. An indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team from the place where the offence occurred, i.e., where the goalkeeper deliberately handled the ball (unless the offence was committed within the goal area, in which case the kick is taken from a point on the forward edge of the goal area closest to where the offence occurred).
The rule was introduced in 1992 to discourage time-wasting and ultra-defensive play.

Of course you frequently see the defense players
passing it to the goalie, he can kick it or STOP it using
head, chest or feet ONLY then can he use his HANDS,
BUT IF THE BALL comes from an opponent then its O.K
if he uses his hands to secure the ball.

yes u can but only by a header or from the chest so the GK can pick it up, otherwise its a foul if the ball is back passed
GK can also come out to play or help their team but dats at their own risk and they CANNOT score goals

Only by heading or from the chest, obviously not from any part of the arm and is a foul if back passed from the feet

you can pass the ball to your keeper, but he can't use his hands, he can just kick it. it's not usually a really sound move.
