It was our first date, when we were slow dancing, and he mentioned that he always wanted a baby girl. That he could dress in pink, bows, and those cute frilly underpants. I looked into his eyes, and I was lost. I had been feeling the strings of my heart being pulled by him, but when he said that, my heart opened and he's been there ever since.
That was October 15, 1979. a little over 27 years ago. We had that baby girl, and he did dress her in pink with the frilly underpants. And bought her outfits and the cutest shoes, and he recently had the honor to walk her down the aisle to the man that captured her heart. The whole way down the aisle they held hands. Then he held mine during the cermoney. And God willing he will be holding my hand for the next 27 years.
Thank you for such a wonderful question. And thank you for reading mine.
God bless us all..............

Well, I've been through this marriage thing twice and, in my opinion, even though you feel at the time, "they're the one", the saying,"You never know what they're really like til you live with them" is 100% true. Marriage takes alot of work. And as soon as something goes wrong, people want "out." People do change and it's your choice to either make it work, or walk away. I sincerely thought I wanted to spend the rest of my life with them. BUT if there are any doubts; of even the slightest---don't get married.

I knew my wife was the one when I was 17 years old... I am now 22. We were in the woods and our first kiss was magic. Up until that time, we were just friends. It felt like nothing I ever felt before, and that was it. In that moment I realized how beautiful she was, and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Soon after that we got married. I have no idea what made me want to marry her, I like to call it magic. We never found that spot in the woods again, even after searching for it for hours.

I knew I wanted her as my soul mate when I first saw her. She was so soft, sweet, beautiful and seemed very unattainable. I pulled EVERY trick in the book from taking her flowers to making her homemade lasagna, buying her secret gifts, spending my last cash taking her to the movies etc etc etc.
She knew I was her soul mate after she treated me like crap for 11 years of marriage and gained 150 pounds. Then she got the stomach surgery, lost the weight and cheated on me(repeatedly) with a 26 year old she met off Craig's list.
I stayed with her and NOW I AM HER SOUL MATE.
A very true and Jerry Springer Style story.

First of all you should have known that BEFORE you married him. I knew that my hubby was the one for me, when he handed me his checkbook and said.. "Do your worst"!
