i give u a thumbs up. i dont usually get along wiht ex lovers as i get dumped for no reason, but there is one that i get along with. his name is brian.we were going out 9 months, i was 16 and he was 19 and we both thought it was love (as u do at 16) we broke up cuz we lived in different town and i couldnt see him every wknd like i used to cuz of work and i was living at home and my mam would not let him come up to me. weve been friends for years now. occasionally we have the odd moment of passion and he swears he still loves me and says that im deadly but also says if he cant have me as a girlfriend he does not want to loose me as a friend either. we live in different town so i dont get to see him as much now, but when i do we have a laugh. he also always stands up for me if someone even looks at me funny.so there u go, this is as long an awnser as i can make it.

Yes, all of them. You want details? Then you go first ....
Seriously, I've always been of the opinion if you care about someone enough to consider them as your lover, husband, significant other, then you should respect what you had enough to part friends and not destory the memory of the relationship, simply because it changed (it didn't "fail"). I am still in touch with many of my past "exes" and even those I am not in touch with, I could meet them by chance on the street and still give them a hug!

FOR THE MOST PART, YES, BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I DONT ALLOW MYSELF TO GET TOO THICK WITH THEM.
IF WE ARE APART, THEN I THINK OF THEM AS ONLY AN ACQUAINTANCE. IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GET TO FRIENDLY WITH AN EX LOVER, BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE HISTORY BETWEEN YOU.
IT'S EASY TO FALL BACK INTO THE SAME SITUATION ALL OVER AGAIN, AND THAT WOULD BE A STEP IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
IF YOU BOTH HAVE DETERMINED THAT YOU ARE BETTER APART, THEN KEEP IT THAT WAY. KEEP THEM AS AN ACQUAINTANCE, AND KEEP THEM AT ARMS LENGTH, AND BY ALL MEANS, IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DISCUSS YOUR CURRENT RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEM. THAT'S JUST WEIRD.
GOOD LUCK.
I HOPE THIS AFFECTIVELY ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION.

If it was me, no. Ex-BFs ended badly - they showed no respect for me or my feelings so I gave them none. I immediately changed my email address & refuse to pick up calls. Like one respondent said, I wish them to burn in hell for hurting me. =) =P
And yeah, they are the type that are too self-centred & self-absorbed & I fully expected (and was proven correct) that they would not even apologise so that we could at least get on peacefully with our separate lives. Wishful thinking on my part but the wiser I became.

Yes, I went out with this girl purely based on the sex. When she heard that I was interested in someone else, she let it happen with no problems. Then when I broke up with that other girl, I went back to having sex with this girl. I guess you could call us friends with benefits. Let me stress though that we never cheated on out partners. We only sleep together if we are single.

I try to. I've purposely lost touch with a couple. A couple of others have tried to stay in my life as "friends" but it doesn't work well and they won't move on and get new g/fs in their lives.
