Why do some women have extremely large breasts;while other women do not???

The development of mammary glands is controlled by hormones. The mammary glands exist in both sexes, but they are rudimentary until puberty when in response to ovarian hormones, they begin to develop in the female. Estrogen promotes formation, while testosterone inhibits it. But sometimes, pregnant women develop their breasts larger than normal for the preparation of breast feed.

Geneetics. I think a more fascinating question is: Why do human females have enlarged breasts at all. I believe we are the only mammals that exhibit female enlarged breasts. Matter of fact, I'm going to pose that question

Genetics - but since breast are comprised almost entirely of fatty tissue and increase in overall body fat will usually lead to larger breast.

it may be a cause of their heredity. They inherit the size of their breast from the grandmothers or mothers. It just depends on the genetic make-up they have in their body...
