Current cricket teams are full with good wicketkeeper, very difficult to choose one, My choice is Mark Boucher-South Africa.
See below why :
Adam Gilchrist (Aus)- No doubt a good keeper and a very good opening batsman. My rating 65%
Kumar Sangakara (Sri Lanka) - A very good keeper and very useful batsman in middle order. My rating 60%
MS Dhoni (India)- His wicketkeeping ok, known well because of his pinch hitting style. Rating 50%
Kamran Akmal (Pak)- He is short in his height, but do well behind wickets and score few good runs can say Ok. Rating 50%
Mark Boucher (South Africa)- A very consistent wicket keeper and lower order batsman. Whenever his team needs his support he proved how useful and experienced he is. He won many matchs for South Africa. Rating 80%

I think most of the non-Asian nations' media and teams agree that Chris Read is the best keeper in the world. If only he could bat at no 7...
By the way, those who are saying Gilchrist, he's the best wicketkeeper/batsman in history, but not even the best pure keeper in Australia, let alone in the world.
