(Bill Pullman) At last we meet for the first time, for the last time.
(Vader voice) I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate.
(Bill Pullman) What does that make us?
(Vader voice) Absolutely nothing. Which is what you are about to become.
Spaceballs, Mel Brooks.

My favourite (and one I use often - but always give Neil Simon credit for it) is a line from the movie "The Goodbye Girl"
Richard Dreyfuss is describing his own performance in a stage production of King Lear:
"Capital P, Capital U, Capital Trid", I just loved it.
A more profound statement I liked was by Bette Davis in "Now Voyager"
Don't ask for the moon! We have the stars!

Mine are from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory..haha
Willy Wonka: You're all quite short, aren't you?
Violet Beauregarde: Well yeah, we're children.
Willy Wonka: Well that's no excuse. I was never as short as you
Mike Teavee: You were once.
Willy Wonka: Was not. Know why? Because I distinctly remember putting a hat on top of my head. Look at your short little arms. You could never reach.
and also:
Willy Wonka: See children? Everything in this room is eatable. Even I'm eatable! But that my dear children. is called cannibalism; and that is frowned upon in most societies

"You can turn your back on a person, but NEVER turn your back on a drug....especially when it's waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye." ~Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (i don't do drugs or anything i just love this quote)
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." ~Jules (Samuel L. Jackson); "Pulp Fiction"
All right, Clanton... you called down the thunder, well now you've got it! You see that?
It says United States Marshal!
Take a good look at him, Ike... 'cause that's how you're gonna end up!
The Cowboys are finished, you understand? I see a red sash, I kill the man wearin' it!
So run, you cur... RUN! Tell all the other curs the law's comin'!
You tell 'em I'M coming... and hell's coming with me, you hear?...
Hell's coming with me!~~Wyatt (Kurt Russell) in Tombstone

Some of my favorites
Breakfast Club
Bender: What do you guys do in your club?
Brian: In physics, well, we talk about physics... properties of physics.
Bender: So its sort of social. Demented and sad, but social, right?
Army of Darkness
Ash: Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things: Jack and sh*t... and Jack just left town.
Cool Hand Luke
"What we have here, is a failure to communicate"
Weird Science
Chet: How about a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.
High Fidelity
Rob Gordon: What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
Rob Gordon: It would be nice to think that since I was 14, times have changed. Relationships have become more sophisticated. Females less cruel. Skins thicker. Instincts more developed. But there seems to be an element of that afternoon in everything that's happened to me since. All my romantic stories are a scrambled version of that first one.

"You make me want to be a better person"
-As Good as it Gets-
I love this line because the character in the movie played by Jack Nicholson was SOOO outrageous with his racist, clean-freak ways that it took him a lot to say this. Therefore making it VERY romantic. I think I love guys who just try to be the best they can be & to know that I play a part in making someone want to be that way is very sweet.
