If you have an alcohol addiction then the best way to cure the problem is to gradually reduce your intake until you are no longer dependent on it ,,,,This is a method used for other addictions also ,,,, How successful you are at it depends on just how bad you want to quit ,,,, The urge for alcohol won't go away over night ,,,, For some people the urge will be there for the rest of their lives ,,,, There are many reasons for alcohol addiction and some that people wouldn't believe either ,,,, You have to set limits and establish a strict regimen for yourself and stick to it ,,,,Getting rid of any addiction is not an easy thing to do ,,,, Some DETOX methods at hospitals or other treatment centers use this same weening process with a pretty good degree of success ,,,, It's much easier than just quitting cold turkey ,,,, Like I said earlier though ,,,, Your degree of success depends on your degree of determination ,,,, Your mind will have allot to do with it too ,,,, Hope my answer helped ,,,, Good luck ,,,,, YODA said that ,,,,,,,,,,

WELL IF YOU'RE WILLING TO STOP ALCOHOL, START BY GOING TO A MEETING AT AA. They have a WEALTH of information and support, you will get your own sponsor and your family and good friends will deeply thank you for it.
Hanan around the same people who use any form of getting blitzed are people you should not be around Right now, if ever.
I am sure you have family and true fiends who love you deeply, this is the best gift you will ever give them.....or yourself.
God bless you and may you be free,
Susie
Let me know how you're doing.
