Are you talking about present and old Shaq or dominant young Shaq?
In terms of accomplishments, no doubt Shaq takes this one. He's got 4 trophies, an MVP award, and seriously, no one can defend him in the post during the Lakers era.
In terms of present talent, as much as I like Shaq, I go with Gasol on this one. The reason? Pau's the undeniable leader of this team, while Shaq plays second-fiddle to D-Wade. Although Shaq's dominance is still there in some games, he's not that consistent. Pau's game is 20 and 10 almost every game. And freethrow shooting is a critical part too.

Shaquille O'Neal hands down! Pau Gasol has a prettier shot, better low post moves, and a competent free-throw shooter. But the Diesel has it all. Four NBA championships, an MVP award, numerous All-NBA Team nominations, movies, music albums, etc. The list goes on and on.

Shaq of course coz hes a veteran of basketball and pau gasol is a great player but no centre can match to shaq. Shaq is an all star and has been for 13 straight yrs but gasol has only been for a while so defintely shaq.

Shaq has been the most dominating center in the past 10 years. Whoever matches up against him is at a total mismatch. Plus Pau is injured right now anyways.

No question about it Shaq Shaq and more Shaq. The big Diesel is the man hopefully another ring this year. All my money is on the Miami Heat led by the big fellow and Dwayne Wade and team.

shaq because he's won three nba title for the lakers and he's won 1 for miami also. He is also big and strong and can score and defend and block shots. He help his team win championships.
