Ok, I work at a store as a cashier.Today this lady comes through my line with 2 big dills of water.she says 'they are 5 gallons' and I say, oh both of them are 5 gallons.she says yes so i charge her for 2 five gallons of water.A few minutes later, she comes to the side of me while i have a customer and starts to point her finger at me and starts to raise her voice almost griping me out.She says that i charged her for 2 five gallons.i said 'yes i did b/c you have 2 of them.' she says ok.sorry.a few minutes later, the lady comes up to my register while I have customers(she doesn't wait for them to leave or nothing)and apparently i had made a mistake and she went and got her money back. she shows me the receipt and says 'see only 5 gallons' and tears the receipt in half and throws it at me (while I still have customers). she then says 'next time pay better attention'.she ended up having 1 two gallon&1 3 gallon bottles making 5 gallons, which would make it a misunderstanding between us.

Also, during the whole time she was griping me out both times, i never once raised my voice or was rude so I don't see why she was so angry and decided to make a scene about it.

Your other customers knew that this "lady" was crazy and I feel you handled yourself well. I would have wanted to punch this "lady's" lights out. Good for you honey and don't concern yourself, Your mother can be proud that you are a gal who has it all together./

regardless of whether you made a mistake or not, her behavior is unacceptable.. I hate the idea of punishment, but at times I wonder whether the abusive types of this world, especially the ones that get by unscathed, really deserve some

I think she might not quite stable, I mean her mantality...well.
Those kind of people can ruines everyone moods all the time.
Just smile and let it go. Does't worth it to waste your emotion for a person like that woman. Well I think other people can see what is actually going one ( she is dam crazy ).
