im thinking about buying it...is it worth it? better than halo?

Halo is better.. However this game is very very good. Mostly this game is all about gun battles and cover. ENDLESS ENEMIES.. it feels like your getting shot at all the time from everywhere. You really zombie out in the middle of moving from level to level (as this game is very seamless ... meaning there are no levels) I realized I had been playing for 5 hours and couldn't believe it.
Couple things that are weak in this game: amount of weapons... gernade throwing requires some practice.... and lack of ammo in certain places. Strong parts of this game: good humor ... just flat out fun using your cover strategies, some very intense cut scenes and sequences.
Overall, it's no halo --- as you don't feel the 100% control of your character like you feel in halo.. and no you don't jump around . This game is easily a score of 90 out of 100 though.

You can't compare it to Halo! It's a completely different experience....a really really crazy one!!! The graphics are the best to date on the 360, the gameplay mechanics are great and easy to pick up within about 10 mins. The Locust horde is crazy and you will be killed many times if you try to play it like Halo... Gotta use all the cover you can find on this game!

Personally i like it better then Halo.I've always felt Halo was a run and gun and in this game if you try that prepare to die a lot..And the graphics if you have a hd-tv are probably better then any game out on pc or console.
