they wont play texas not to mention the game was won by vince young....i think any team that plays good nickel or dime style defense and can stop the run will beat ohio state especially after illinois almost beat them....i think that if floridia winds up in the national championship they will beat ohio state ebcause of the whole dual qb threat that would strongly confuse ohio states old school d and floridia has a great defense

We will see if my Buckeyes can hold the intensity they have had all season long up until they lost it a bit in the second half of the Illinoiz game. If the Buckeyes can muster it up long enough to finish this season, then they will defeat the woolveweenies on November 18.
It's a LONG layoff of SEVEN weeks after that to January 8, 2007, in Glen Dale AZ for the championship game, K? That allows for both championship contenders to prepare for what should prove to be a VERY good game this time around. The analysts have looked for chinks in Ohio State's armor all season, and have doubted them at many times as well. The Buckeyes have continually proved their mettal, and have denied the jinx usually associated with the preseason #1 ranking. While NO team is invincible, I believe that my Buckeyes have a VERY good team, in fact they are above average; and yet they are almost under-achieving this year on offense!!!
Considering all of that, I think the Buckeyes' chances of winning it all are VERY VERY GOOD.
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I really believe that they will. I think the last game against Illinois was part fluke and part tressell ball. He tightened that offense up and played to save his players health and get some rotation in the line up. That logic could have easily blown up in his face, but it didn't. Illinois was a very hungry team that wasn't about to lay down and die. I like their future.
Unless something happens to Troy Smith, I think they will win it all. He is the only person on that team who they can't replace. Ginn goes down and there are still plenty of other options. Etc, for the rest of the offense and defense.

It's there's to loose... But I'm telling ya... Last week they went into Illinois half stepping holding their jock and they just barely got out of there alive. They better not do the same thing against Northwestern or they wont be as fortunate this time. The Wildcats aren't playing for anything accept next year... Unfortunately I think their season ended before it even got started (Because of their coach passing away right before the start of the season).
It would make their season if they could knock of the Buckeyes and keep them from going to the championship game... I'm just saying. They better bring their A++ game, because Northwestern will be bringing their's.

Not if they play Texas! Texas is a different team than the one ohio st. played Sept 9th. and Texas prepared for USC last year they will be very prepared to beat the buckeyes on Jan 8th! If Texas gets robbed than ohio st probably wins.

yea the horns can say that^^^ all they want
but alot of us Buckeyes were saying that at the end of last year
but we'd still beat texas or michigan again
Ohio State is the best team in the country
in fact this year has been alittle too easy
they will beat whoever they play
unless they beat themselves

and its oh-so-wonderful Vince Young?
Ohio State is doing just that
this year.. not too shabby at it either.
This season's been weird, anything can happen.

NO. If they get passed Michigan they won't be able to beat Texas again on a neutral site.
