Final Fantasy 12?

Question

Okay, Im I the only one who thinks that square-enix really dropped the ball when it came to the voice acting in this game? I mean, the gameplay is good, and the story line is sorta good (only played an hour so it will take a bit to get into). But the voice acting has absolutely no emotion in it. FFX, HELL, even FFX-2 provided some excellent voice acting. If your gonna put voice acting in the game, hire some talent for crying out loud! What is your opinion?

Basche-Great voice for the character
Balthier-Sexy voice (I love him)
Penelo-annoying as well

You're right though, FF10 and FF 10-2 had great voice actors.
I love Auron's voice and Shuyin's. Did you know that the same guy who does Shuyin's voice does Tidus' voice too? I thought Lulu had a perfect voice for her character too.

Personally, I love the game! Only one hour in? Once you get Balthier; THAT'S when the story gets good.

Yeah it's different. But unlike FFX-2 or FX, in which some characters have really irritating/childish voices (Rikku comes to mind, esp. in X-2), this game is less about character than about the plot and struggle of a continent against the Archadian Empire.. As a result, the story is less emotional and more political.

I personally like the translation in english (and not american) as well as the voice acting, I think it suits the game quite well. My 2 cents..

I do think the voice acting could be better. But, the game is so gorgeous for me to notice that and the voice quality as if it was recorded in a secluded room. The voice the characters had in the english version sounded rehearsed and uh... fake. It had kind of an echo or a voice in a box sound to it.
