Something requiring skills: computer, accounting, mechanical, etc. "Non skilled labor" employment pays the least (fast food burger flipper, parking lot attendant, etc.)

When you hit about 15, most jobs are open to hiring you. So 16 is still a bit underage. Highest paying job for your age group, I would say, would be working in a local cafe or grocery store. Possibly even helping out in the community (not community service). For example, in my town some teens hold up signs pointing to neighborhoods, houses for sale, or events, and I've heard they get paid just about 14 bucks an hour. Not bad, eh?
Good luck searching. :)

Hi Pedro
Try getting your foot in the door at a local hotel or Banquet Hall, as a busboy or banquet porter (setting up ballrooms for weddings, meetings, etc. and stuff)
These usually pay like 7 to 10 bucks an hour, BUT they also pay GRATUITIES (tips) also, and that could bring you up to near $20.00 per hour . The hours are great for a student, because you mostly work evenings and weekends
Call the Catering Department of a hotel near you and find out what their pay structure is, and ASK if there are any job opportunities
It's way better than working like a dog at a fast-food joint for pennies per hour.
TRUST ME ...........and CALL THEM NOW !!!!!
Good Luck Pedro
and don't forget you owe me 10 points for best answer buddy
Thanks
