let's see... 40/3 = 13.3*2 = 26.6 (27 is beg. of trimester)

(half of 13.3 is about 6 and a half)

27+6.5 = 33.5 weeks = which is about 7 and a half months.

long story short.. yes.

and it should weigh 2.5 - 3 pounds at the end of the 7th month so the baby would weight about 2 - 2.5 pounds at 7 and a half

oh... and 40 weeks is not 10 months, it would be if we had 28 days in a month, but we have 30 and 31.

The third trimester starts at 28 weeks, so 34 weeks would be the middle of the third trimester...6 weeks from 28 weeks and 6 weeks from 40 weeks. 28 weeks is 7 months (My son was born at 29 weeks and my doc told me I was 7 months 1 week along), so 34 weeks would be 8 1/2 months. Count on a calendar...40 weeks is 10 months...not 9

Middle of the third trimester means 7.5 months. Mid pregnancy in general is 4.5 months.

The baby should weigh about 3 + lbs.

Yeah, I would think they are saying that they are in the middle of their 3rd trimester. So I would say 7 and half months.

Middle third to me sounds like second trimester.
