They couldn't possibly respect themselves after some of those hilarious displays. Lets here about the characters that stick out the most to you, The stoy line, Script! Dont let me get started on the script....hahahahahahaha!!! What is the purpose of the show? Really?

It is really far fetched and everything but I wouldnt agree that these actors have no diginity. I met the actress that plays Sheraton Krane a few years ago at Saks and she was super nice. As for the rest of them, its a step in the right direction for acting. Specifically for the actress that formerly was the character Charity - she went from there to the TV show called Twins. I dont believe its on anymore but that was a step in the right direction for her career. Also most widely known Jesse Metcalfe who was the actor that formerly portrayed the character Miguel Lopez-Fitgerald. He went from Passions to an FX movie called 44 minutes:A Shoot Out in North Hollywood. and he also has a recurrinmg role on Smallville. Now he is most widely known for his role Desperate Housewives and had a movie not to long ago. So this silly soap that you seem to think cost him his dignity, was a mere stepping stone for his career. The script may be silly but the actors do not do a bad job acting it.

I loved Passions. It was like a send up of daytime soaps. I particularly liked how they would never get round to doing anything, but would spend all this time thinking about it or having dreams about something.

Once I checked and found it would take them about 40 episodes to tell the story of what happened during one day.

But what I liked was how they didnt take themselves seriously. There was one time when Beth, her mother, the lesbian that fancied Beth and Precious the orangutang did a song and dance about being in gaol for kidnapping Sheridan. It was a priceless send up of Chicago. Another time, Dr Bombay from Bewitched turned up to treat Tabitha the witch.

Unfortunately, they have stopped showing the show in Australia, presumably because most people agree with you.

I used to love Passions, I like the fact that it's supposed to be stupid unlike other soaps that just are. But it actually got too stupid for me this past summer and I haven't watched it for a while. I miss Justin Hartely as Fox, and Timmy! Endora is really cute though, her and Tabitha are the only reason I watch now :)

I love Days of Lives and I watch Passions sometimes. It is a little over the top with the witchery, the typhoons, the mermaid. It's all getting a little too ridiculous. Also, why do they keep replacing characters with uglier versions of the originals that have no acting skills whatsoever (Miguel and Fox)?
