No,since you're only 12. wait how old are u again? If twelve or 13 well all i could say is NO cause it will destroy your face....When i was 10-17 i couldn't wear makeup, my mom would always take my make up away from me is someone gave me a make-up kit for a present. Now when some of my friends tell me to wear lipstick i would wipe it off imediately cause i'm not use useing makeup its really YUCKY if its your first time when your use to NOT wearing make-up.....So for my adveise don't ever wear make-up even though your already a teenager cause you wouldn't want to destroy your face, besides you don't need make-up to make boys like you or something, you're pretty already, who needs MAKE-UP......

I would say yes. Your skin is struggling enough fighting the basic acne that comes with the typical adolescent hormone changes, you really do not want to add to this. I'm sure you are a beautiful young lady without the "clogged pores". You have what a lot of older women pay hundreds of dollars trying to achieve each month...... a youthful look! Try to enjoy that youthful "glow" that is so hard to maintain once you have reached adulthood. Trust me, you'll be glad you waited when you're 30 and other people swear that you're not a day older than 21. Besides, why would you want to add an extra step to the daily routine of getting dressed in the morning anyway lol. If you really want to add some color, try a sheer colored lip gloss.

If you do start wearing makeup, my advice would be to use it sparingly and go for a natural look. If you use base or a tinted moisturizer find one that matches your skin tone as closely as possible. I understand the desire to wear makeup. I began to wear makeup at 12 and now, at 43, I rarely ever wear it. Use a sunscreen (in the form of cosmetics or one formulated for use on the face) on your face daily and you will one day be very glad you did!

do natural make up like
Flowers are the in-thing! Whether it is adorned on jackets, bags, hats or even just stuck stylishly in the hair-do, you see them everywhere. Roses, lilies and even daisies are the accessories to have. Get some flowers (doesn’t matter if they are real or artificial) and create your very own accessories! Glue them on to ribbons for a choker or directly onto a plain pair of heels and see how they add colour to your outfit!
Lemony Bath Gel!
Ingredients:
2 spoons (about 30 ml) of honey.
2 spoons (about 30 ml) of fresh lemon juice
2 spoons (about 30 ml) of bath foam/gel
Preparation: Mix in the honey and the lemon juice with the bath gel and stir evenly. When you have obtained a homogenous compound, mix with water and lather on. Your end product will make you feel relaxed and smelling good! Honey moisturises your skin and lemon minimises your pores!

Sweetheart, haven't you heard that the new fashion now even with models that less make up is more. Now a days it is natural beauty. Why wear make up at such a young age? I only wear mascara myself and I am 38.
When I was your age, I came home from school one day with make up on. My mom was like (what is all that goo on your face? Sweetheart, you don't have to wear make up to make you look pretty. It is what is inside that counts. If you want to wear make up, why don't you just do light covering so you won't be hiding your natural beauty.)
Have a good day sweety~

I think you are a little young to start make up. I have a daughter the same age and none of her friends wear make up yet. You girls are so pretty already you don't really need it.
I think junior high is a good time to start.

Yes, 12 is a little young for makeup. Why not just stick with tinted and sheer lipglosses?

I dont think so. Im 13 and I already ware make up like lip gloss and powder, but dont put too much make up. It will make you out of feeling. Just like me, went Im 12 I wore many powder on my check. I feel weird in school.

that was about the age I started wearing it...Don't be in such a hurry you will have the rest of your life to wear all the make-up you want! but I have to say from starting at such a young age I am pretty good with a make-up brush.
