damn. i am so annoyed with myself!!!
my create zen mp3 player just stopped working. the touchpad won't work, and it won't turn on or off. it just shows the creative logo on the screen permanently.
i accidentally dropped it about 15 minutes before this happened but why did it work for 15 minutes and then suddenly stop working?

I should have mentioned that I've tried taking the battery out but it does nothing. And when I try to connect it to the computer, it doesn't register. I've damaged it badly.

maybe it was 'shocked'. try pluging the player to a computer to see if it respond. or wait for the battery to run out.

Note: if it is 'shocked' the data inside may be courpted and you have to format it and all data will be gone. hard disk have more chance than flash disk

it worked for 15 minutes because it has a hard drive as well as a tiny amount of ram to keep things running smoothly while the hard drive accesses data. you damaged the hard drive when you dropped it, but it kept on playing what was in flash memory. can you hit the reset button? can you pull the battery out for a minute? if those solutions don't work, install a new hard drive. there is a how to on this, just google it.

I had this happen once with my Zen Micro, all I did was pull the battery out and put it back in then turned it on, if it freezes then just leave it on and plug it into your computer, and hope for the best
