I have a daughter Farah, she is 8 months old. She was born two weeks early and weighed 6 lbs 4 oz.

She was tiny but gained weight quickly. Now she is 20 lbs and is wearing 12 month size dresses and not quite a year old!

My partner and I decided not to find out the sex because she had bad morning sickness and it was helpful for her to have something to look forward to that was nice. It helped alot too during the birthing because the focus on what sex the baby was took her mind off the pain. As far as clothes are concerned we brought all the baby clothes for at the hospital and to bring the baby home in that the baby NEEDS. Family and friend brought lots of unisex clothes too which are great. During the pregnancy we brought some girl and boy clothes that we found that we really love and you can always take the clothes back that you dont need when you know the sex. You buy most of the baby's clothes after birth anyway as you never know how big the baby is going to be and how fast it will grown. When it comes to things like decorations, bedding, toys, pram, change table, rocker, etc we got cool nuetral colours that turned out to be practical and trendy and most everyday use things and extra decoration we brought after when we found out the sex and temperament. When the baby is born it is all about them for a while and if you have gone and brought everything and decorated then you miss out on some real quality fun activity inbetween the feeding and changing. We are glad we waited it has made everything that much more special with lots of benafits. Good luck

I really don't think the babies are more likely to get bigger because you are on your 3rd pregnancy. It is going to depend on that baby, and how well it takes in the fat, and how well the weight carries in that baby. With my first one, a boy, was 7.7, and I am at term now, due any time, any day, and just had an ultrasound and baby was only 5.8lbs. So it just depends on the baby, not what number pregnancy you are on.

I only have 1 but he was huge! He was 10lbs14oz and my room mate at the time had her 3rd one that weighed 11lbs7oz
I am a licensed EMT & instructor, in our OB classes we teach that each succesive baby usually weighs more and delivery is quicker each time. Hope this helps & Good luck.

My son was born at 38 1/2 weeks and was 7lb 15oz
My daughter was born at 36 weeks and was 6lb 15oz

The doctor told me that if she had gone about 2 more weeks, she would probably have been at least 8 lbs.
