Not only can you password your account (which you should ALWAYS do anyway, many PC's and laptops also offer the ability to have a second p/w set within the BIOS - preventing anyone without the p/w from even booting up the computer :)

If you have a Windows operating system click on START, CONTROL PANEL, find USER ACCOUNTS and left click, now left click on YOUR user name, and look for CHANGE MY PASSWORD, or CREATE A PASSWORD. This will put a password on your PC. Not done though.

Now once this is done (You may need to restart your PC), go to a blank spot on your screen and RIGHT CLICK, PROPERTIES, SCREENSAVER TAB, pick a screensaver if you like , now change the MINUTES down to 1-30 Minutes or whatever you want, then CHECK MARK the box next to it that says ON RESUME, PASSWORD PROTECT.

put a password on it. That can be done in your admin windows section or if you have a mac I am sure they have something compatible
