No it is not at all harmful. Why three times a week you can even do it thrice a day, if you can. See the benifits of Masterbatation -

Masturbation is the manual excitation of the sexual organs, usually to the point of orgasm. It can refer to excitation either by oneself or by another. It is part of a larger set of activities known as autoeroticism which also includes the use of sex toys and non-genital stimulation. There are also masturbation machines used to simulate intercourse. Masturbation and sexual intercourse are the two most common sexual practices, but they are not mutually exclusive. Some people are able to achieve orgasm only through masturbation and not sexual intercourse.

Benefits
It is held in many mental health circles that masturbation can relieve depression and lead to a higher sense of self-worth (Hurlbert & Whittaker, 1991). Masturbation can also be particularly useful in relationships where one partner wants more sex than the other — in which case masturbation provides a balancing effect and thus a more harmonious relationship.

On July 16, 2003, an Australian research team led by Graham Giles of The Cancer Council published a medical study [2] which concluded that frequent masturbation by males may help prevent the development of prostate cancer. The study also indicated that this would be more helpful than ejaculation through sexual intercourse because intercourse can transmit diseases that may increase the risk of cancer instead.

Masturbation is also seen as a sexual technique that protects individuals from the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS. Support for such a view, and for making it part of the American sex education curriculum led to the dismissal of US Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders during the Clinton administration.

Some people actually consider masturbation as a cardiovascular workout.[10] And while doctors have no proof of this actually being true, those suffering from cardiovascular disorders (particularly those recovering from myocardial infarction, or heart attacks) should resume physical activity (including sexual intercourse and masturbation) gradually and with the frequency and rigor in which their physical status will allow. Some doctors will advise those recovering from heart attacks to resume sexual activity (solitary or with a partner) when one is able to climb two flights of stairs without experiencing shortness of breath or chest pain-

No it is not....!! Masturbation is not at all a harmful thing, the only thing u gotta keep in mind is do it only when u need to relieve yourself from sexual anxiety or want to indulge in to self pleasuring occasionally. Making masturbation a practise wud not harm u physically but it may affect u mentally coz in that case u keep on thinking the same all the time. And if u say u do it 3 times a week, then trust me its not gonna harm u at all. Rather masturbation is a helpful activity for u to know your sexuality in a better way. So go for it and there is nothing to worry about.... :)

Though masturbation does not harm one's health but it can affect one's sex life, especially for guy. As if one apply too much a pressure on it penix to get off, it will get used to it and eventually when you are have intercourse with your spouse and cant get the sensation, you might not be able to enjoy it.

sperm decreases since you use it more. you are getting all like you decribed youself because masterburating wares you out. and the only harmful thing is if you do way to much than you will be changing unless you are still young and going threw puberty than you of course would be changing. the other side affect is your penis maybe turning to the side of the hand you are using. i would only recomend you doing it 3 times but do has much as you want but the more you do it the more energy you use and don't have much to excerssize . lots of mistakes but who cares it's not an essay

Masturbation is not harmful to you no matter how many times you do it.

If you weren't supposed to touch there, it would not be so easy to reach, and feel so good.

For a guy it can be if no lubrication is used. For a girl it can if the hands, fingers, and vagina aren't clean and moisturized.
