I'm a child of the sixties and my favourite western was Maverick, mainly because of the humour, especially in the episodes with James Garner.

I also remember Cheyanne, Sugarfoot, Wagon Train (with Clint Eastwood before the spaghetti westerns) and the Rifleman.

When I was young, you could go to the movies for 35 cents and popcorn was another nickol. I was born in 1935. The best movie I ever saw was with Gabby Hay's and Roy

It is probably Gunsmoke. My family watched it every Saturday night. I really think they were all mini dramas. Rifleman, Paladin, or Wanted Dead or Alive were also very good.

anything john wayne....used to sit on my dads lap and watch it with him all the time when i was younger, and i still love to watch em!
