Entering the lens, light refracts in the direction toward perpendicular to the surface of the glass, and it refracts more the greater the angle of the surface (beyond a certain point it would actually reflect). A light ray which goes straight through the middle of the lens is not refracted at all, since it is perpendicular to the glass, but the further from the center it is, the more the angle of the glass and so the greater the refraction towards the center.

A convex lens is a lense that bends outwards. When light reaches it, the rays are destorted because of the bend. The rays are bent so they meet at one point and so make the view smaller.

i think of diffracted. i theory the techniques would be right down to 3, pondered, refracted or diffracted (from what I bear in techniques in technology) dealing with a lens potential they arent pondered, or refracted ( its no longer being scattered or aimed awayed) however the rays are being lead in a course so diffracted
