Much like the definition of the other users, I think the "good" and "bad" conscience best describes the demon and the angel perched (or floating) over the shoulder of the character. For example, if Daffy Duck were to have a good and evil conscience, then their names would be "good" Daffy and "evil" Daffy.

It is supposed to be the persons conscience the devil the bad thing to do and the angel the good thing to do so the closest thing to a actuall term would be conscience
