I hope so, but who knows. 2 years is forever in politics. Alot of stuff can happen and it really depends on who decides to run.

GOP, wont run a Bush or Rove drone in 2008 after this 2006 decale. GOP better off the slaughter occured in 2006 than 2008 to recoup and acutally bring in people to follow the contract of America. Democrats will have a harder time getting in office in 2008 than keeping the house and senate because the front runners lack the leadership, and chrimastic ability except for Obama. Kerry is Finished in 2008 after that one comment, and Hillary will bring back Clinton memories that public would like to forget. I bet in 2008 for a GOP whitehouse, but democrat controlled house and sentate in 2008.

I think Americans have spoken to that already. It is time for a change. Let us hope those we sent to power to speak for us were not just paying "lip-service" to us as it is usually done in general. I do not think the GOP will be in the Executive office in 08

The Republicans nor the Democrats really don't have anybody. Easily the number one winner is Chief of Staff, Ms Rice but she doesn't want to run. I don't think she would have to run. She could just sit at home during the election year and then wake up and be president. Without her running, I think it will be either Al Gore or Hillary Clinton. A Hillary Clinton or Al Gore win will get the Republicans 12 more years of rule. Remember Al Gore got worse grades than George Bush. If you think Bush was stupid, just wait for Al Gore to have to think. Kerry had a chance till he called the American troops idiots.

For the first time in american's history ( that I know of) I would like to see an independant take that office. IT's will be nice to tell both the GOP and the democrats we are sick of the Boloney. Only problem is we won't really know what they stand.
