Water is known as the universal solvent. Everything that contacts it and is surrounded by it for any length time will be dissolved into it, albeit, in very small quantities. if you mix anything with water, it will contain some part of the matter in the water. If you pour oil in it, the water will have petroleum impurities. If the water is contained in rock, the water will have minerals from the rock in it. Even plastics will transfer chemicals into the water.
