Ronald Reagan's ability to communicate.
Bush is a horrible speaker and communicator.
Iraq in not popular, but if Bush went on tv and effectively spoke to the people, more people would be open to it.
The stock market is at an all time high, record home ownership, etc etc. The media downplayed the good things. All he had to do is go on tv and tell everybody with conviction and clarity, the Repubs would still control the house and senate.
Being a good leader includes being a good speaker. Not a snake oil salesmen, but somebody who can fire up the troops, and he just can't do it, at least on a regular basis. He gets a grade F as a speaker.
