With my 2 middle fingers, looking at the keyboard, and my thumb for the space bar - but I'm getting better! My other fingers come into play quite a bit more than they used to, and sometimes I only have to take short glances at the keyboard...

I have to thank the typing teacher I had back in my Senior Year of High School in 1980.
He said, you may not know it, but this may be the most useful class you will ever take.
Now, with the onset of computers, he sure was right.
I am accurate and very fast at the keyboard, without looking of course.
It would be a real negative if you had to pick and look at the keyboard. With all the proposals I type and all the blogging I do, that would waste a lot of time.

Fast without looking. I have been typing since I was about 14 (I am 41 now). Long time to be typing and can't stand it if someone is near me typing with two fingers and looking at the keyboard! It drives me totally nuts!

I type with two fingers, looking at the keyboard. But--there's two great reasons why I never learned touch typing. I wanted to become a writer. Years ago, I could have taken typing in high school...but it would have counted toward 'grades'. So,
1. I didn't know then if I could write fiction or poetry on a typewriter instead of doing it in longhand. And
2. I was in line to be valedictorian, and didn't want the silly course counting on my report card.
I still think I was right, back then; but nowadays I could write in a boiler factory typing on a computer anyhow.

Type with all fingers looking at the keyboard. Still make mistakes and have to use Spell Check.

I type kinda fast...but I have to look at the keyboard sometimes.
