Could be many reasons dear, first thing is to pleeeez explain to your wife that it's NOT because you don't find her arousing. Make sure she knows it's something that bothers you too, and call your family doc. He will be able to rule out, or diagnose any medical condition. In the meantime, if you masturbate a couple hrs. before engaging in sex with your wife, you should get a firmer, longer lasting erection. Don't ignore it, it's a very important problem for the both of you. Good luck hon.

As stated above, it could be from medical or emotional problems you are having. High blood pressure, or the meds used to treat this condition, or any other medications you are currently taking can have a big impact on your ability to maintain an erection. Also stress or depression, or any feeling of being insecure in your relationship will do it also. Are you still aroused by your partner? Or have you become bored in the relationship? And also as stated above, there are many meds out there that will help you to maintain an erection and enjoy the sex life you once had. You do need to discuss this with your physician. Good luck!

First you want to check with your doctor to see if anything physical is happening to you. Problems in your marriage, work or finances can be a downer in more ways than one.
Drugs, alcohol, marijuana and cigarettes can have a cumulative effect on erections over time. You could also be in a little bit of a rut and don't find the same old thing the same old way exciting. Use your imagination. Be creative. Enjoy yourself and stop worrying. And don't worry about worrying, lol.

I'm guessing you are in your late 30's or early to mid 40's, and in that age group undiagnosed depression is the number one cause for sexual dysfunction, however there are several, just as serious medical problems that can cause this common problem, stress being the second most common reason. I'd suggest seeing a doctor for a complete exam and seeing what he/she finds and or suggests. Good luck.

The first thing to do is get medically checked. Go see a urologist, who can test your hormones, etc. and rule out certain conditions. Don't worry, though, there are lots of answers to these kinds of problems. Don't be embarassed - its totally acceptable to go for help.

emotional or physical impentency. You should go see a doctor to find out and if you want to be more sexually active, there are plenty of options out there. Just ask your doctor first.
