Malcolm in the Middle??

I am going crazy because I missed the last Malcolm in the Middle!
Does anyone know how the show ended?

It was a great and touching episode. Malcolm and Stevie get offered high-paying jobs straight out of high school by a friend of Stevie's dad. Lois rejects the offer politely and the man respects Lois' decision, even though Malcolm is fuming mad and wants to take it. He feels that he finally has an opportunity that he deserves.

This all happens during graduation time and Reese is planning the ultimate prank. With his grandmother's help, he concocts this disgusting brown mixture in a barrel and hides it in the family van. He wants to detonate it at the graduation ceremony.

As soon as everyone piles into the van, the barrel explodes. They're all covered in stinky who-knows-what when Malcolm finally loses it. He confronts Lois about how she always tries to sabotage him and wants to keep him down. Lois and Hal finally explain that they expect him to become the greatest president of the United States ever, and that the only way for him to do that is to keep working hard and understand what it's like to be poor. That is the only way he'll really care about the working class when he's president. Malcolm, both shocked and humbled, accepts their high expectations.

At the graduation ceremony, Malcolm's speech talks about the importance of family and remembering where you come from. Everyone in the audience keeps their distance around the family because, even though they showered and changed clothes, they still stink. Hal also discovers that Francis has a steady office job, even though he continues to lie to Lois about being unemployed. Hal asks him why he's lying, and Francis explains if she found out, it would make her happy and he can't have that.

At the very very end, it's a few months later. Francis is arguing with Lois on the phone, hangs up, and his wife hands him his lunch and he happily heads off to work. Reese is living with Craig. Dewey and Jamie are causing mischief together. Hal and Lois look like they're finally content when Lois comes out of the bathroom with a horrified look and a positive pregnancy test. The very last scene is of Malcolm talking on the phone with Reese, about life at Harvard. The camera zooms out and we see him wearing a janitor's uniform. He hangs up, puts away his cleaning equipment and runs off to class.

What a great show!!

Sorry, I care, but do not know. Are there even new ones on anymore? They stopped showing it with regularity, and then I stopped watching with regularity. But it's hilarious.
