I have a 10 gallon unheated (room temp) tank with 2 snails, two fancy Goldfish and Dojo loach. It is planted and contains a lump of bog wood.
The filter is the type that hangs of the back with filter cartridge, and I have a small airstone.
I'd like to add some Shrimps and may be a clam?
My biggest fear is that the Shrimp will get eaten, or sucked into the filter.
Looking at other questions posted, I guess that ghost shrimps are glorified fish food, so perhaps something a little larger would work?
I would appreciate any advice on the best way to go!

Since you are already very overstocked, you can't add anything. Goldfish need a minimum of 10 gallons each, snails require 2.5 gallons each and the dojo loach needs to be in a tank of at least 40 gallons. If you would like the fish you have to live then I would suggest getting a bigger tank, something like 55 gallons, then think about what else you can add.

I only offered some ghost shrimp on the instant from Petsmart. They value $0.33 each and each. I truthfully have a woman betta, 3 white cloud fish, and 5 ghost shrimp. they are nonetheless all alive. The betta did go after the shrimp in the beginning up yet then stopped good away. the worker at Petsmart mentioned that she had 10 ghost shrimp in a 5 gallon tank. i like my ghost shrimp so some distance. :) solid success with your determination.
