ovechkin might be the best, it's still kind of early to tell.
malkin looks really promising, but ovechkin is on such a crappy team that if he can keep up with malkin and crosby, i'd think he's better.
ovechkin is expected to be the playmaker, the goal scorer, and the leader on the caps.
crosby and malkin have more, and more solid veterans surrounding them.
malkins' got 7 goals in his first 9 nhl games and is rated a +6.
ovechkins' got 10 goals in 14 games this year and is a -1, so he's on fire, but he's not running away from malkin, he's just got a head start.
these guys are truly amazing hockey players...too bad they can't fit into a team system like they have in Buffalo right now.

It's hard to say how he'd play with others. He doesn't really have a lot of help on the Caps so I don't how good he can really be. However, he is very good defensively and much much better right now in all aspects of his game when compared to Sidney.
I'm not sure he's as good as Evegeni Malkin however I am going to love to see the International ice hockey competitions over the next decade and see how Russia deals with these two and other great players like Ilya Kovalchuk.

Hard to say, but take Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin .. they will all rule the leauge one day, if not next year. LOL!

I'd say yes but some will argue I'm just saying that cuz I'm a Caps fan! But don't think there is any doubt that he is one of the top 5 players in the league. Scary thing -- he will only get better!!

Ovechkin was amazing last year, but this year he doesn't seem to be doing as well. Crosby is better this year.

right now Jagr is the best and most of you would pick Jagr to be on your team cause he has simply been the best player in the NHL and most consistent for the past 10 years and even more.
