I almost died during labour, unfortunately my baby did die as I had high blood pressure, I had placental abrubtion which the doctors couldn't pick up until an emergency c-cection was performed. I was bleeding internally and no one knew until it was too late, all they knew was that the babies heartbeat was dropping this was in 1995

What would cause a woman to die during child birth mite be the pain. But it will be worth it once your baby is born and healthy

By "child labor" do you mean be in labor and give birth? If so, then there are several reasons. Hemorrhage, stroke, shock after hemorrhage, heart attack, infection.
I hemorrhaged after the birth of my first son (I also had toxemia, which is bad enough) and I remember they put a really warm blanket on me and I remember thinking, how nice. Then I realized afterwards that they were keeping me from going into shock.

A hematoma. I know because I came within seconds of dying myself after my first child.
