Thank GOD someone else sees it! I deal with the lowest common denominator on a daily basis in my job and I wonder that every single day. I've come to the following conclusion. People who are in their mid 20's and early 30's were reared by parents who - in some form or another - experienced the Great Depression or its aftermath. I believe that these people, once they conceived children, raised said children with the mindset of "I had to work my *** off to get everything I have... I want something better for my child". The child, therefore, was basically handed quite a few things instead of having to work for them. These children grew up expecting a lot in return for a little. This is where the abuse of welfare came from, in my opinon. Also I believe an entire generation of somewhat lazy and unmotivated people who are now old enough to be making decisions and setting precedents for future generations was produced. This is why we see women who have 4 children all from different men, she's never had a job and she's living next door to you, in a house that costs nearly the same as your house... you're paying $1500 per month for your house but because this woman (aka baby factory) is "under-priviledged" she can live in a house similar to your house and she only has to pay $50 per month. Now you notice she's driving an Escalade with 22 inch chrome rims and a DVD player in each headrest...

People such as you and I are witnessing the death of common sense in this country. We have clubs in New York in which dancing is not allowed. Smoking in a business which serves food was just banned in Las Vegas. The people keep passing more and more restrictions to - in effect - protect us from ourselves.

We see frivolous lawsuits each week because some idiot claims "well they never said I couldn't".... I blame the stupid woman who tried to drink her McDonald's Coffee with the wrong set of lips and then sued McDonalds for making hot coffee...
The CEO of a major US based tire manufacturer was just removed from office following allegations of embezzling MILLIONS of dollars from the company... the company's quarterly newsletter just posted a 7 million dollar loss for the quarter, due in part to giving that ousted CEO a $5 MILLION severance package..... ??? If you've just stolen millions of dollars from a company with pending indictments why would they give you FIVE MILLION DOLLARS in a severance package???

I firmly believe that God has a barometer of the average I.Q. of this planet... once it dips into the "legally retarded" range I believe the apocalypse will occur.

More education in one field brings less time for education in other fields, or God forbid going out and experiencing what life is about, on their own skin. There is no common sense, people are self -righteous and ignorant of suffering or decency...How many Americans have not lived one day without air-condition and heat?
Toys, throwing food away for no reason? Even the dogs are spoiled rotten, not to talk about kids. Of course, there are always
those that don't fit this profile, but the majority of people are plain bad.

people with cult myths seem to live without common sense or intelligence. it's weird, yes....

just like Rev Haggard. he displaced everything -- it was 'satan's fault' and now a couple years of prayer and 'laying on of hands' and he'll be ready to preach and serve god again. what a whack-job. almost as bad as the people who follow that cult garbage. no common sense or personal responsibility whatsoever.
