Heh - I'd have to say that the best job I've ever had in my entire life............
Is the same job I started when my son was born....... being a dad.

Well hopefully, it's the one I'm about to start in a couple of days time! (Hopefully this new job isn't the best I'll ever HAVE though, as it's only a summer job before the next uni term starts...)
The best I really have already had was a part time on taking new uni students on tours of the campus and sitting behind a desk helping them out with their questions during orientation week. It was fun, well-paid, and anything beats the supermarket checkout really...

Financially speaking, the 8-year stint I pulled at General Motors before my plant went to Mexico. Pure enjoyment - server at Morrison's Cafeteria in Clearwater FL. Nice people down there. The little old men used to fake like they thought a quarter was a big tip. But, they were sweet, those old dudes. It was fun.

My best that I ever had when I were employed by the Department of Defense as an Electronic Engineer. I had a good salary, benefits, merit bonuses and locality pay.

I used to deliver parts for a company. We delivered heavy duty truck and trailer parts. I took a lunch when I wanted to and listened to the radio all day. My route was never the same and I was outdoors a lot. Didn't pay much, but I still dream about that job.

being married to my husband - best thing I've ever done in my life was to say "yes" ! He's the best thing that's ever happened to me! 9 yrs & going....

I'm still trying to find it.
I did like volunteering at Head Start, a preschool for low income families, the kids were SO sweet there. I just don't have the patience anymore for that many children. That was 10 years ago.
Time for me to go back to school!

While I was in college, I worked with poversihed and underpriveledged children in an inner city school!!! It was an afterschool enrichment program so I was teaching these kids about star fish, planets, countires etc. they disected a squid! They had never learned about these things before it was miraculous and their grades improved in their standard classed! It was awesome!
