i am only 19 years old and i guarantee i know at least 5 times as much as my parents knew back when they were in high school... as civilization changes so does technology...every year it gets more and more harder. in new york state you must have a regents diploma to graduate.. then again education is better in new york then most southern states.
on the other hand ,japans technology far exceeds ours we are months late. look at their cars for example and gaming systems
the fact is our children will far exceed our learning capacity. look how smart todays todlers are. we look back at our parents technology and laugh our kids or grandkids will do the same to us

It's poor. Our public education system needs more money. Teachers don't get paid enough for what they do. It's embarassing and sad.
