Keep the check and try to run it through the bank again in a few days. You can try to do this several times, until the funds are there to pay you or the account is closed out. I'm not completely sure on how long a check is actually good for. 60 - 90 days from date written?

I'd ask them to pay all the bank fees plus what ever money that was being given to me! Then I would shove tomatoes up their car's tailpipe! Then I would pour some sugar down their gas tank!
Then I would take a screwdriver and cut holes in all of their car's tires!
