I do not think Sourav ganguly will get a place in the Indian team again, because of the politics, worst than Indian politics. Further he is already 35 years old and his cricket playing years are numbered. So selectors will not consider him any more. He has also made lot of money in Cricket and should be satisfied and retire for looking after his business.

The question isn't about youngsters making it to the team while the oldies are discarded. It is important to have performers in the team. Non performers have to be excluded. That was the reason why Sourav was shown the door and promising youngsters, performing well in the domestic circuit included in the team.
While some youngsters have indeed performed upto expectations, others have put up a miserable show. But Sourav is gradually leaving his dismal past behind him and starting to return to form with a well scored century in the Duleep Trophy. So he must be back to the Selection Committe's consideration. Some non performer, whoever he is, must make way for a performer who has a wealth of experience both as a player and as India's most successful skipper.
And come to think of it, what has the Great Sachin Tendulkar given to India in recent times? A string of failures. But he continues to stay although he should have been discarded much earlier in accordance to the yard stick of performance, which eliminated Sourav from the team. But then Sachin is Sachin and nobody can dare to touch his hair.
If selection is fair and free from politics, Sourav has a great chance of returning to the Indian team.

Actually he seems to be out of form now. He tried county and Indian domestic but did not find much success. Remember in Pakistan he could not make big score.
But I think he is a big stage player, if he is given a chance he may do well. Since K more gone and Vengsarkar is positive once he would be in he can play without pressure and make it.
Young stars are OK, but you need few experienced player.

by using fact being Captain for long and with Dalmiya backing him, all this potential have been given to his head and he started bossing around. he used to play a lot of politics interior the group which ofcourse would not help the group and the ethical of the gamers.. And so a approaches as his previous archives and archives are concerened, he grew to become into good. yet that would not propose u can play until u die.. He grew to become into continuously failing to attain runs in his previous experience's (that have been greater suitable than 40).. The group is chosen on your cutting-edge overall performance, no longer how u used to accomplish few years returned.. for this reason Mr. Ganguly is out of the group.

He will be defenitely considered for a place in India Team if he continue to perform well as he has done in the Duleep Trophy Match against North Zone recently. Only one good performance will not earn him a place in the Indian Team

"Sodhi", riduculous, definitely not an international material.
Raina and Kaif will always sturggle with their limited talent
I dont think Yuvraj has got any problems.
Ganguly definitely has a chance to replace Kaif or Raina.

well we are approaching world cup and our middle order is struggling badly, with yuvi bhai having a knee injury it appears even more pathetic, what i believe that for a tournament like WC we need to have experience in our team too, if u analyse aussuies there team's avg age is 34, and wht we believe only youngsters cud do well its a myth,
having dada with tendulkar and dravid and ofcourse kumble bhai will provide emotioal backup even to youngsters and we shudnt forget tht dada took us to thefinals last year so his presence wud definetly make a difference...

NO, He has no chance to get back
in to the Indian Team.
He should try his luck like Kapil Dev
and start Golf and become Indian
Captain in the Golfers' Club.
Kapil Dev was also shunted out of
the Indian Squad because of his
non-performance. They can make
best friend in Golf and have their
own rules.
Golf is a very slow game and the fitness
levels are minimum and NO FIELDING
and NO CATCHES please. NO RUNNING
as well.

Yes provided he shows good form in domestic season and stays match fit - the team selection should primarily be based on form, fitness and experience (not age, caste, looks, religion, etc.)
