I have a gay friend and he just started hanging out with this girl... ( for almost a year now, good friends ) she asked him if he ever had feelings for her and he said yes, one of their first times ever hanging out walking a dog in the park and wondered if this could be it and didn't want to **** it up... but then later thought about it and concluded that it wouldn't make him 100% happy.
Does every gay guy go through this?

i certainly don't know about every gay guy, but i went through that and so did some of my gay guy friends. the thing is that gay men feel a special bond with straight girls and there is the whole thing of wanting to be "normal". almost every gay guy goes through a phase in their lives where they are just sick and tired of being tormented and ridiculed for being gay and they just would like to be "normal", whatever that is. so don't be hard on him. it does hurt the girls sometimes and that is not good but the gay guy is hurting too.TTFN.

I believe they do. I'm gay 24 been out and 100% gay for the last 6 years but i've got this friend of mind and ive been hanging out with her heaps lately. Lately i think im falling in love with her. Ive got a bf and happy but sometimes when im with her i think i could be like everyone else have a gorgeous girl hanging of my arm. I think its a phase tho and ill get over it. So i think yeah we go through it now and then. Str8 days my friend likes to call them!

Unfortunately I'd say yes. Hey it's hard to try to fit in in this world. Sometimes you try to convince yourself that you are not gay but alas there is nothing you can do but eventually accept yourself. It's kind of cruel to the women but I really don't think we do that to hurt anyone.

He want to convince himself that he is normal(which in his case, being straight)Its not his fault that he want to fit into the society.People look at gay as were they are abnormal but its not true!!!Its normal for your friend to act like this, give him some time and space,he will realize it sooner or later
