Your daughter is 11, nearly middle school, and rebelling. On top of that, what kind of sick mother are you trying to get your daughter to wear something she doesn't want to wear. Lipstick isn't going to hurt her if she doesn't wear it, and no one is going to think less of her because of it. Plus she is 11, most girls don't wear makeup till 12 or 13.
You need to stop worrying about her not wearing lipstick... It shouldn't be embarrasing over something as stupid as 1 inch of your daughter's face. Get over your youth oppresion.

She is 11 years old for god sake. Let her be young. Life is once let her have her childhood. I would not say that a child not wearing lipstick is insolent let alone a personality disorder for being made to wear lipstick at 11 years of age. Maybe you ought to rethink and let her decide when time is right for her to wear lipstick. Things could be much worse...she could be causing gang problems, getting in trouble at school...etc... I think by the sounds of it you have a wonderful daughter and are expecting her to grow up too soon. LL.

You are putting us on, right???
If not, then here's my honest answer, probably inspired by the fact I'm 54 "already" :
"Eleven year old girls don't NEED lipstick (nor further make-up, IMHO) to make them look more beautiful, or cute, than they already are.
They have a special charme of themselves already, just as they are.
You clearly don't know the meaning of the words "sociopathic" and "insolent".....I take it you meant something like : "a-social"?
Girl, I would find it odd if I saw an eleven year old wearing lipstick or full makeup, just because their mother thinks it's the thing to do, to blend in. (if she wants to wear lipstick just to play around, that of course is a different thing)
Please, let your daughter be a "kid" as long as she wants to, the years of responsibility are coming soon enough for her, and will last much, much longer than her childhood.
Let her enjoy it the way she sees fit. (kudos to your daughter, I think she's a smart girl)
Please don't take my answer as offensive, I just tried to help you."

damn, how bored are you? you can't even think of a new kind of stupid question to ask. just the same old daughter / lipstick or daughter / cleaning thing over and over and over again. does the institute for autistic studies know you've gotten access to the computer?
everybody else, read her prior questions.

I'm sorry, is this a joke or something? 11 year olds don't need makeup, are you crazy? You need to be teaching her that she is beautiful just the way that God made her, and she doesn't need any of that stuff. You are going to create a pretty insecure young adult who seeks others for constant approval if you are forcing her to change the way she looks for your approval. I wouldn't want to be you when she hits those teen years, you're just asking for trouble.

You are being a menace to her self-esteem and that will only serve to make her a shallow, selfish person like her Mother. You should be ashamed of yourself. If she doesn't want to wear it then don't make her feel that she has to. What's wrong with you?
