You can use a cheap plastic razor. just take a piece of cardboard and put it on your bed then the sweater over it and use the shaver lightly on the fuzz balls. It works. Next time turn the sweater inside out to wash and use delicate cycle and lay or hang to dry then put in dryer to fluff it up. Less damage that way. Good luck.

fill up a basin or clean sink with cold water and liquid detergent (tide or gain smell great). Swish the sweater around the basin for a few minutes. Rinse well. Squeeze out the water, gently and without twisting to wring it dry or it will lose it's shape. Lay flat on a heavy towel. Roll up the towel and squeeze out the excess water. Put sweater on another heavy towel, shape and lay flat to day. Your sweater will have no pills or fuzz, it will smell delightful and last longer. This requires a little more work, but so worth it!

There is a device similar to an electric razor that was developed for that purpose. I think Remington makes them. You should be able to buy on at drug stores or variety stores. I own one and it works great. Other brands are also available.
