You need to understand what a franction is.

If you multiply a fraction, x/y by a non franction, z then you need to

mult. x by z, then divide by y

so 2/3 of 22,500 is:

22,500 times 2, then divided by 3:

22,500(2) = 45,000

45,000/3 = 15,000

Do the same thing for the other one.
