This is my first job and i have been working here for about 5 months. About 3 months into the job, i start to hate it because my boss is very mean and i get a lot of pressure to perform well. I am working as a educator. I love teaching hence i applied for this job. I am being sent by my company to a place to teach. A lot of times, the people there take me for granted because i'm not "one of them". They like to push their own task to me, even simple things like printing (clicking a button on the keyboard) they will ask me to do it. It gets me down because i'm not motivated as the tasks are unchallenging. Sometimes, i will just wept inside the toilet. I feel so miserable working here.
I told my parents that i want to quit, they don't understand why even though i've told them. They think it's a good job and i will not be able to find another job like that outside. I told my mom that i want to set up my own tution center, she agrees that it's good. Should i quit just like that?

If you start to drag yourself to work everyday then I think you better quit. But setting up your own business is not as simple as what you think. You need to find a place for the tuition centre, hire people, rental fees, renovation cost etc. The most diffcult part is that when you are new in the market, people will not trust you as much as the more established tuition centres.
You need to consider all these factors before you go into this type of business. All the best to you

If you're unhappy then quit, but before you mention to anyone that you're quitting that you can find another job, even if it doesnt pay as well you may find you enjoy it more. In your next job stay around for longer than 5 months so as future employers are able to see that you can stick around and be loyal to a company, but right now i say get out of ther, be happy...good luck

Honey, you better grow a thicker skin. EVERY job will have people that boss you around, dont appreciate your work, etc, etc,

What I would suggest is that you go into whoever is in charge of human resources and get a written "job description" outlying your responsibilities of employment. After reading it thoroughly, if they are asking you to do things that is not on the list, just politely tell them that "it is not your job".

don't quit until you have found somthing else you like more. I have a few online businesses. they are great, no bosses. And I get to pick my own hours.
