Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved many times in the past, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As far as World Cup 2007 is concerned it is all the more difficult to predict the winners at this stage as the names of the players who will be representing each countr have not been finalised. Further what will be the form of the players selected at the time of world cup is also uncertain at this stage.
Hence the only safe prediction one can make at this time is that all the top 8 countries stand a chance to win the World Cup. The outcome will be depending upon the performance of the players on the given day.

it is going to be a puzzling job for the West Indies to win the international Cup yet do not count quantity them out thoroughly. in many circumstances W.I. is greater effective in one dayers than they're in try fits (fortunately the international cup is the shorter version of the sport) plus they're enjoying at abode. regardless of in the event that they don't win the Cup they nevertheless would be tricky (undergo in ideas they're the ICC champions). that is not far fetched to think of Australia or South Africa can win the call and in all possibility they stand the suitable possibility of doing it at WC2007.

I dont think their recent form is of any credit cos every team goes thorugh a good phase. However i do agree they have re invented their form after more than 5 years. they better than before but not good enough to grab the cup

They will surely produce their best team. Their selectors don't go by media recommendations
