Ok let me explain a little. We are ttc baby # 2. We have been trying for over 2 years now. About a year ago I was having a very intense pain on my right side that radiated to my back. Ultrasound - nothing found. This happened every other month for the last year. About 3 months ago, Same pain but this time they found a cyst on my left side. (Pain on right - cyst on left - ok whatever), My last period was September 16th. Took 2 Hpts both neg. Went to the Dr on October 30th - Blood test (yes/no) and it was negative. On November 8, I started to spot (very very little - pink color). Today No spotting. Can anyone give me advice or have been in the same situation. I have another Dr. appointment on November 24th - 2 days before I turn 35 (boo hoo). Thanks for you help and advice.

I'm 21 and trying to conceive baby #2 and it took me 2 yrs to conceive my son. I also suffer from ovarian cysts and it takes me a long time to get pregnant so I think ovarian cysts cause you to have fertility problems. You need to consult a obgyn def. b/c I had two ruptures of cysts and that can be very painful trust me. You could be suffering from early menopause b/c you are not pregnant. Blood tests are 100% accurate only a few weeks after conception and the only time they arent is with lab error. Good luck and just keep trying and maybe you could start tracking your ovulation dates and periods with this site www.mymonthlycycles.com

well you had a blood test at the doc. office and it was neg..that is about as accurate as they come..I have had cyst on my both of my sides and boy are they painful..every since i had them though my periods have been off track..your gonna be 35, and i hate to say it, but maybe your body is starting to change..mine did about that age..wait to see what the doc. say..ask him about a test where they put a probe up in you..that gives out more accurate out look around that area..it's not a pleasant thing to go through, but it will give better results..good luck

Sheesh...by what you describe it's very hard to know what's happening for sure. Heck even when I was sure I was pregnant I still took 6 pregnancy tests...both kids! LOL...can you relax and wait? Sorry I know it's hard...but without tests there's no way to know what's happening!

Extremely light periods usually means that you aren't making enough estrogen to build up your uterine lining. It can also be a sign of an anovulatory period. http://www.earlymenopause.com/symptoms.htm
