similar to roaches which also cant get cancer, they're bodies are made of a different type of cell. Sharks are composed mainly of cartilage tissue, which is hard for cancer to thrive in. Thus, they're chances of getting cancer are very small. They can still get cancer in internal organs, but not in their extremities.

Actually, I believe I read on Wikipedia that they aren't immune to cancer, they just get it very rarely.

If you exposed a shark to enough high frequency radiation it would probably get cancer.

But please don't do that.
