I quite agree with your selection of first 8 players. However, I would like Munaf Patel and Zaheer Khan in place of Balaji and Mahesh. I also prefer Gautham Gambhir in place of S. Badrinath as we should have 3 openers. Rest of the selection is okey.

who is V yomahesh.and agarkar is best fast bowler in team this time.zaheer must be in team.Sehwag should be given a break. selection of kumble is good.if u have selected dhoni why there is kartik. i don't think that this is time for badrinath to be selected.

its a good selection but there should be a place for munaf patel as he is good with his line and have control on pace.
in place of laxman there can be rohit sharma or dinesh karthik.
badrinath and mahesh are inexpericed for bowling in SA.

C'mon....be bold to drop non-performant players like Sehwag and Sachin...We want a team which performs consistently and not the one which performs once in a blue moon...

IT WOULD BEEN OK IF GAUTAM GAMBHIR COULD HAVE COME IN PLACE OF JAFFER
