I had surgery awhile back to have the endometrial lining thinned out because I was having excessive periods. So now I have none, I went to talk with my doctor and she can't understand why I am not having them, yet my hormone levels are normal. I am not pregnent and I am not going through menopause. I just don't have any periods although I do have symptoms of one. So should I just count my blessings or be concerned?

Also, What could happen if I don't have periods other then not being able to have children? Which I don't want any kids. Would I develop other medical problems?

There is alot of debate about whether or not it is unhealthy to not have a period, and most of it stems from the complications caused by the depoprvera shots. If you have had your hormone levels checked and your health is normal, I would not be concerned about it.
I have actually looked into having my endometrial lining thinned-it is actually "sold" here at a clinic as a process here that stops periods altogether. I thought that was what the purpose of the procedure is.
