I dont think so, at least I've never heard that before. Drink plenty of water of course to keep hydrated. The only 'problem' with exercising and breastfeeding I've read is that when you exercise your body releases chemicals (ie. getting that runners high) and that can be found in your breast milk. I've heard to feed your baby 2hrs after heavy exercise to reduce the amt your baby ingests. I never did exercise enough to worry about this though, LOL.

it depends on how much your intending to lose, and how quickly! If you start crash dieting and drop your calorie intake (including exercise!) to under 1,800 kcals a day, then your milk supply will suffer and diminish.. Exercise alone wont stop milk, as long as your continuing to eat enough to continue your supply, its fine! BUT remember to start slowly! Why not try a light aerobic exercise like swimming or walking? Dont do too much to begin with - you need to get your fitness and stamina back up again! So start slowly (maybe 20 minutes a few times a week!) and then build up again to a regime your happy with! A good mantra is 'it took 9 months to put on and it takes 9 months to take off again!' But remember if you go walking with your baby this is great exercise you can do together! Aim for 45 minutes 5 times a week ... and eat healthily! This way youll be back to a sexy mummy again, and baby wont miss out! Good luck with your weight loss, and congratulations on your lovely! :o)

As long as you stay well hydrated and maintain a healthy diet (not "diet" but eat nutriously) there should be no risk in exercising hurting your milk supply. Military moms have to return to work after 6 weeks and have to return to their full physical training program after 90 days (almost sure about the 90 days but if wrong someone tell me please) so if the hundreds of military moms can do it I am sure you can just make sure to talk everything over with your Dr to make sure it won't hurt your body, good luck!!

It will NOT decrease your supply, but it can change the taste of it and the baby may not like it. You can pump and dump right after you exercise

No...in fact the combination of breastfeeding and exercising will help you loose your stomach much quicker.
