Trying to find song ??

Ok the song sounds a lot like Natalie Imbruglia.. it talks about rain and still being thirsty...OMG I love the song and cant think of it does anyone know ??

the first thing i thought of was natalie imbruglia's "torn" not exactly sure why but i did.
