I am looking for a fertility monitor and seen this brand on ebay....has anybody heard of it?...and is a saliva tester just as good as a urine tester?? Tell me whatever you know!!please and thank you

The saliva ovulation predictors are useful and reusable but I was not at all impressed with them. They are no where near as reliable as the urine ovulation predictors. Saliva opks measure the amount of saltiness in your mouth--when estrogen rises the salt in your mouth does too. This can cause problems though because if you've eaten something salty or have salt residue in your mouth your results will be inaccurate. I used mine for about 3 months and finally gave up on it because the urine tests were just easier to use.

If this is the kind of test where you look at your saliva and it is supposed to make "fern patterns" when you are ovulating I have heard good things.

I believe they work mainly as a microscope so I wouldn't think the brand mattered.
